Upper Dir courts resume function

08/08/09  UPPER DIR: The courts in Upper Dir started working after a gap of three months as situation turned normal in the area. According to official sources, civil courts started functioning in Dir, Wari and Shernagal subdivisions of Dir upper. On the other hand, official sources denied the reports of burning schools in tehsil Maidan and said no school had been burnt in recent days. Militants have been eliminated from tehsil Maidan and displaced persons continuously returning back to their homes.
